What are the early symptoms of colon tumors?
Disease description:
Recently, I have been experiencing frequent diarrhea and abnormal bowel movements. I suspect I might have developed colon cancer. I would like to ask, what are the early symptoms of colon cancer?
The early symptoms of colon tumors are often subtle, but the following signs may be observed:
1. Changes in bowel habits: such as increased or decreased frequency of bowel movements, alternating constipation and diarrhea, and a feeling of incomplete evacuation.
2. Abnormal stool characteristics: blood in the stool may occur, with the blood color varying depending on the tumor's location—blood appears brighter red when the tumor is closer to the anus. Mucoid or pus-filled stools may also appear.
3. Abdominal discomfort:表现为间歇性腹痛或腹部不适感,这可能与肿瘤阻塞结肠腔,导致粪便通过困难有关。
These symptoms are not unique to colon tumors and may be subtle in the early stages. Therefore, if any of the above symptoms occur, it is recommended to seek timely medical attention for professional examinations to establish a clear diagnosis.
