The adverse reactions of the DTP vaccine mainly include: 1. Local reactions: Redness, swelling, pain, itching, or induration may occur at the injection site. These reactions typically appear within several hours to several days after vaccination and usually resolve spontaneously within 1-2 days. 2. Systemic reactions: Some children may experience low-grade fever lasting no more than 24 hours. This typically does not require specific treatment and resolves spontaneously. 3. Neurological reactions: In very rare cases, abnormal neurological reactions such as neuritis or encephalopathy may occur. 4. Rash: Some children may develop a rash within several hours or days after vaccination, which may indicate an allergic reaction. After receiving the DTP vaccine, one should remain at the vaccination site for observation for half an hour and leave only if there are no abnormalities. Mild adverse reactions generally require no special treatment and will resolve on their own. If symptoms are severe or persist, prompt medical attention should be sought.
