What are the symptoms of tinea manuum and tinea pedis?
Disease description:
I am 32 years old. Recently, while washing my feet, I noticed that many blisters had formed on my feet. It turned out to be tinea pedis (athlete's foot). What are the symptoms of tinea manuum (hand癣) and tinea pedis (foot癣)?

The symptoms of tinea manuum and tinea pedis (hand and foot ringworm) are varied and mainly include the following aspects:
1. **Vesicles**: Patients may develop small, deep blisters on the hands and feet. These blisters have thick walls and are not easily ruptured, typically appearing scattered or in clusters. The blisters may resolve spontaneously, dry up, and subsequently lead to peeling of the skin.
2. **Maceration and Erosion**: This is commonly seen on the feet, especially between the toes, and is characterized by skin maceration, whitening or reddening, and accompanied by slight exudation.
3. **Scaling and Keratosis**: Primarily affecting the palms and soles, this presents as rough, thickened, dry, and scaly skin. In severe cases, skin fissures, bleeding, and pain may occur.
4. **Erythema and Papules**: During the active phase of tinea manuum or tinea pedis, erythema (redness) and papules (small, raised bumps) may appear locally, accompanied by varying degrees of itching.
5. **Odor**: When tinea manuum or tinea pedis is complicated by secondary bacterial infection, a distinctive odor may be produced.
If any of the above symptoms occur, it is recommended to seek timely medical attention and follow the guidance of a qualified physician for treatment.
