The liver is a nutrient-dense food, rich in iron, vitamin B12, vitamin A, protein, and other nutrients. Consuming animal liver in moderation can be beneficial to health to some extent, but the specific effects vary from person to person. Excessive consumption may increase the burden on the liver and lead to fatty liver disease, thus providing no direct benefit to liver health.

For individuals with impaired liver function, maintaining a balanced diet and following medical advice for treatment is more important. In daily meals, one should ensure sufficient intake of vegetables, fruits, whole grains, and high-quality protein while limiting alcohol consumption and avoiding high-fat foods to protect and promote liver health. If there are specific liver issues, dietary adjustments should be made under a doctor's guidance.
