Causes of White Hair

The appearance of white hair is usually associated with aging, but there are also other contributing factors. The main causes include: 1. Genetic factors: Premature graying often runs in families and is inherited as an autosomal dominant trait. Some genetic disorders, such as albinism, progeria, and ataxia-telangiectasia syndrome, can also cause premature graying. 2.
