Lung cancer coughing up blood is in which stage?
Disease description:
I myself am suffering from lung cancer. Recently, my condition has not been very good, and I have been coughing up some blood. I would like to ask the doctor: at which stage of lung cancer does coughing up blood occur?

Coughing up blood in lung cancer does not directly indicate a specific stage of the disease, as this symptom can appear in the early, middle, or late stages of lung cancer.
1. In early-stage lung cancer, patients may cough up blood due to tumor compression of blood vessels, although the amount of bleeding is generally small and may appear as blood streaks in sputum.
2. In the middle stage, as the tumor increases in size, it may invade the bronchial wall blood vessels, leading to an increase in the amount of blood coughed up, which appears bright red, and may be accompanied by chest tightness and chest pain.
3. In the late stage, the tumor may invade major blood vessels in the body, causing massive hemoptysis, along with symptoms such as difficulty breathing, chest pain, headache, fever, nausea, and hoarseness.
If hemoptysis occurs, prompt medical attention and relevant examinations should be sought to establish a diagnosis and initiate treatment.
