What are the hemostatic drugs?

Hemostatic drugs are mainly used to promote blood coagulation and reduce bleeding, and can be categorized into the following classes:

1. Vitamin K1 Tablets: In cases of vitamin K1 deficiency, blood clotting may be impaired due to the liver's inability to synthesize clotting factors normally, leading to a tendency to bleed. Supplementing with vitamin K1 tablets helps restore the synthesis of clotting factors, thereby achieving a hemostatic effect. These tablets are primarily used to correct bleeding tendencies caused by deficiencies in clotting factors.

2. Aminocaproic Acid Tablets: Aminocaproic acid tablets are antifibrinolytic agents that enhance blood coagulation by inhibiting fibrinolysis, thus achieving hemostasis. They are suitable for various types of bleeding caused by excessive fibrinolysis, such as trauma- or surgery-related bleeding in organs rich in plasminogen activators, including the prostate, urinary tract, lungs, etc.

3. Adrenochrome Tablets: Adrenochrome tablets can promote the constriction of damaged blood vessels, helping to seal wounds and reduce bleeding. They are primarily used to treat bleeding caused by capillary damage or increased permeability, such as gastrointestinal bleeding, epistaxis (nosebleeds), retinal bleeding, hemorrhoidal bleeding, and uterine bleeding.
