How to Improve Enlarged Pores
Disease description:
I am 23 years old this year. Recently, possibly due to staying up late, I have noticed that the pores on my face are becoming more prominent, which is quite troubling. I would like to ask doctors how to improve enlarged pores.
Enlarged pores are usually caused by excessive sebum production, accumulation of keratin, collagen loss due to aging, long-term UV exposure, and other factors. To improve enlarged pores, the following methods can be considered:
1. Cleansing and moisturizing: Cleanse your face twice daily, morning and evening, using a gentle facial cleanser to remove excess oil and dirt. Follow with a moisturizer suitable for your skin type to maintain proper hydration.
2. Regular exfoliation: Exfoliate once or twice weekly using either chemical or physical exfoliating products to help remove dead skin cells and reduce pore blockage.
3. Oil control: Use oil-controlling products, especially on the T-zone, to reduce excess sebum production that may lead to pore enlargement.
4. Antioxidant protection: Use skincare products containing antioxidants such as vitamins C and E to combat free radicals and protect the skin.
5. Photorejuvenation (Intense Pulsed Light): For visibly enlarged pores, photorejuvenation treatment can be considered. This treatment uses broad-spectrum light to penetrate deep layers of skin, stimulate collagen production, and break down melanin granules, effectively minimizing pore size, tightening the skin, and reducing pigmentation.
6. Nano-bubble treatment: Also known as the "skin vacuum cleaner," nano-bubble therapy may be helpful for enlarged pores accompanied by noticeable blackheads. This treatment can extract blackheads, infuse nutrients into the skin, and reduce pore size.
