Can I eat garlic chive omelette if I have gout?
Disease description:
I was recently diagnosed with gout. I used to really enjoy eating garlic chives stir-fried with eggs, but I haven't eaten it since my diagnosis. I would like to ask, can people with gout eat garlic chives stir-fried with eggs?

Gout patients can eat garlic chive omelette, but should do so in moderation.
1. Low purine content: Both garlic chives and eggs are low-purine foods. Therefore, consuming garlic chive omelette will not significantly increase uric acid levels in the body or trigger gout attacks.
2. Nutritional value: Garlic chives are rich in vitamins and dietary fiber, which help promote gastrointestinal motility and relieve constipation; eggs are rich in nutrients such as protein, cholesterol, fat, vitamins, and minerals, which help strengthen physical health and promote nervous system development.
3. Moderate consumption: Although garlic chive omelette is relatively suitable for gout patients, the intake should still be controlled. Excessive consumption of eggs may increase cholesterol levels, which is not beneficial for gout patients with comorbid hyperlipidemia. Additionally, garlic chives may irritate the gastrointestinal tract, so gout patients with concurrent peptic ulcer disease should also consume them in moderation.
