Which人群 cannot take Mecobalamin tablets?
Disease description:
I have a mild gynecological condition and would like to purchase some Mecobalamin tablets to help alleviate my symptoms. However, I heard that some people shouldn't take Mecobalamin tablets. Could you please tell me which groups of people should avoid taking Mecobalamin tablets?

Mecobalamin tablets are a neurotrophic drug primarily used for the treatment of peripheral neuropathy, but they are not suitable for all populations. The following groups should not take mecobalamin tablets:
1. Individuals allergic to mecobalamin: People with a history of mecobalamin allergy are contraindicated to avoid inducing allergic reactions, such as skin rash, itching, and in severe cases, even life-threatening conditions.
2. Pregnant and lactating women: Due to the lack of relevant research data, potential risks cannot be ruled out; therefore, mecobalamin tablets are contraindicated during pregnancy and lactation.
3. Children: As there is insufficient data on efficacy and safety in children, it is not recommended for children to take mecobalamin tablets.
4. Patients with severe hepatic insufficiency: Severe liver dysfunction may impair drug metabolism and excretion, thereby increasing the risk of toxicity; therefore, mecobalamin tablets are contraindicated in this population.
