What causes acne all over the body?
Disease description:
I've been feeling unwell all over the past two days. When I took a shower today, I was shocked to discover that my entire body was covered with pimples. I was stunned. Why is my body suddenly covered with pimples?
Causes of widespread acne include:
1. Excessive sebum secretion: Overactive sebaceous glands can produce too much oil. If pores are not cleaned in a timely manner, oil can accumulate and block hair follicles, leading to acne formation.
2. Abnormal keratinization of follicular cells: Abnormal keratinization of cells around hair follicles may cause the follicular opening to narrow, preventing oil from being discharged properly and resulting in acne.
3. Hormonal imbalance: For example, excessive secretion of androgens can disrupt the skin's oil and water balance, causing excess oil production that blocks pores and forms acne. This may be related to factors such as high stress levels, emotional tension, staying up late, and a high-fat diet.
4. Genetic factors: Acne has a certain hereditary component; inherited genes may make the skin more prone to overproducing oil.
5. Poor lifestyle habits: Long-term late-night sleep, high-fat diet, excessive stress, and similar habits may affect hormone balance, stimulate sebaceous glands, and consequently lead to acne formation.
