How to calculate the ovulation period in women
I know that women have ovulation periods, but I personally don't know how to calculate it. I would like to ask, how can a woman calculate her ovulation period?
Methods for Calculating the Female Ovulation Period:
1. Menstrual Cycle Calculation Method: Suitable for women with regular menstrual cycles. Ovulation usually occurs about 14 days before the next menstrual period begins. The five days before ovulation and the four days after, including the day of ovulation itself, together form a 10-day period known as the ovulation period.
2. Basal Body Temperature Method: This involves tracking temperature changes by measuring and recording body temperature every morning immediately after waking up. On the day of ovulation, the temperature tends to be relatively low, and it gradually rises after ovulation.
3. Cervical Mucus Observation Method: This method involves observing the consistency and quantity of cervical mucus. Before ovulation, mucus production is low and the mucus is thick; after ovulation, mucus increases in quantity and becomes clear, stretchy, and more transparent.
4. Ovulation Test Strips: Ovulation test strips detect the level of luteinizing hormone (LH) in urine. When the test strip shows a positive result, it indicates that ovulation is likely to occur soon.
