The main groups unsuitable for kidney transplantation include the following categories: 1. Individuals with absolute contraindications: such as patients with untreated malignancies, individuals with active tuberculosis, HIV or active hepatitis, drug addicts, patients with progressive metabolic diseases, individuals with recent myocardial infarction, patients with persistent coagulation disorders, individuals with an estimated life expectancy of less than two years, and those with severe dysfunction in other organs such as severe cardiopulmonary insufficiency or severe hepatic and renal dysfunction. 2. Individuals with relative contraindications: such as patients older than seventy years, patients with severe peripheral vascular disease, psychiatric patients (such as those with mental retardation or unstable psychological status), individuals with premalignant lesions, patients whose underlying diseases are prone to recurrence after kidney transplantation, such as sickle cell anemia or Waldenström's macroglobulinemia, and individuals with recurrent or difficult-to-control complicated urinary tract infections.
