Baby's symptoms of high muscle tone
Disease description:
Recently, during my baby's medical checkup, it was mentioned that he has high muscle tone. I would like to know what manifestations are typically associated with this condition?

Infantile hypertonia, also known as increased muscle tone, may present the following characteristics:
1. The palms are often clenched into fists, with the thumbs flexed inward, and even after massaging the back of the hand, it is still difficult to open the hand.
2. Opisthotonus: when lying on the back, the head consistently tilts backward.
3. The ankles are frequently inverted, with toes flexed downward, presenting a scissor-like posture. When supporting the infant in a standing position on a firm surface, the toes touch the ground, often accompanied by inward or outward bending of the knee joints.
4. When pulling the infant's limbs, one can feel significant resistance from the infant.
5. During bathing, it is difficult to open the fists. When the lower limbs just touch the bathtub or water surface, the infant's whole body immediately becomes stiff.
