How to treat dampness accumulation?
Recently, I have been feeling physically sluggish, have had no appetite, and experience heavy dampness in the body. What should I do in this situation?

Dampness excess is a common syndrome in traditional Chinese medicine, manifesting as body heaviness, limb weakness, poor appetite, loose stool, and other symptoms. Treatment of dampness excess can involve multiple aspects such as diet, exercise, and herbal regulation.
1. Diet: Dietary habits should be kept light, avoiding tobacco and alcohol, as well as raw, cold, greasy, spicy, and irritating foods. Ingredients that strengthen the spleen and resolve dampness can be selected.
2. Exercise: Appropriate physical activity accelerates blood circulation and enhances the body's water metabolism, aiding in the elimination of internal dampness.
3. Herbal Regulation: Chinese herbal medicine can be used to regulate internal dampness. If the body exhibits dampness excess with poor appetite, a swollen tongue with tooth marks, and frequent fatigue, Shen Ling Bai Zhu San can be used to strengthen the spleen and eliminate dampness.
4. Clearing heat is also necessary, as dampness often coexists with heat pathogens. Herbs such as honeysuckle (Jin Yin Hua) and forsythia (Lian Qiao) can be used for clearing heat and detoxification.
5. Improving lifestyle habits: Maintain a dry and well-ventilated living environment and avoid staying in damp conditions for prolonged periods. Pay attention to personal hygiene, change clothes frequently, and keep the body clean and dry.
