What are the symptoms of advanced liver cancer?
Today, during a follow-up visit to the hospital, I discovered that my liver cancer has progressed to the advanced stage. I would like to ask, what are the symptoms of advanced liver cancer?

Common symptoms of advanced liver cancer typically include the following:
1. Pain in the liver area: As the disease progresses, the tumor may grow rapidly and increase the tension of the liver capsule, causing pain in the liver region.
2. Gastrointestinal symptoms: These generally manifest as physical fatigue and weight loss. Patients may also experience reduced appetite, nausea, and vomiting. Anemia may also develop.
3. Hepatomegaly (enlarged liver): This is a relatively common symptom of middle to late stage liver cancer. The liver enlargement tends to be progressive, with an uneven surface, and may present as multiple nodules or a large mass.
4. Abdominal mass: With liver enlargement, a hard, irregular mass can often be felt in the upper right quadrant of the abdomen.
5. Fever: Patients with advanced liver cancer frequently develop persistent low-grade fever or irregular high fever, which is related to the release of pyrogenic substances due to tumor tissue necrosis.
6. Jaundice: As the disease progresses, patients may develop jaundice,表现为黄染的皮肤和巩膜,以及深黄色尿液。
If the aforementioned symptoms appear, prompt medical attention is recommended.
