What should I do if I feel cold easily?
I'm someone who is particularly sensitive to cold, especially during winter. I not only need to turn on the heating, but I also have to use heat patches on my body. What can I do about being so cold-sensitive?
Methods to alleviate cold sensitivity:
1. Keep warm: Wear adequate warm clothing, especially in cold weather, and pay attention to keeping the head, hands, and feet warm.
2. Moderate exercise: Engage in appropriate physical activity to strengthen physical fitness, promote blood circulation, and improve the body's cold tolerance.
3. Dietary adjustments: Eat more warming foods, such as lamb, beef, longan, and red dates, and avoid consuming excessive raw or cold foods.
4. Nutritional supplementation: Ensure sufficient intake of nutrients, including proteins, vitamins, and minerals, to maintain normal body functions.
5. Emotional regulation: Prolonged stress and anxiety may increase the body's sensitivity to cold. Try relaxation techniques such as meditation, yoga, or deep breathing to reduce stress.
6. Seek medical advice: If cold sensitivity persists or is accompanied by other symptoms such as fatigue, weight changes, or joint pain, seek medical attention promptly.
