What are the symptoms of incomplete urination?
My urine stream has become weaker, and I experience pain during urination. The examination indicated benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), and I have gradually developed a sensation of incomplete bladder emptying. I would like to ask, what are the specific manifestations of incomplete bladder emptying?

Urinary retention is characterized by the following manifestations:
1. Difficulty urinating: Patients may need to attempt urination multiple times to empty their bladder, and the amount of urine each time is usually small. This may be due to slowed urine flow or intermittent urination, requiring straining to fully empty the bladder.
2. Urination intervals: After urination, patients may need to wait some time before attempting to urinate again, or may experience involuntary leakage of urine after standing or physical activity.
3. Decreased flow rate: Compared to normal conditions, the speed of urination is significantly slowed, requiring a longer time to complete urination.
4. Associated conditions: Urinary retention is commonly seen in diseases such as benign prostatic hyperplasia, urethral stricture, and bladder neck obstruction, and may also be related to neurological disorders such as diabetic neuropathy.
5. Dribbling: After straining to urinate, some urine may leak out, especially after standing or walking.
6. Urgency and pain: A strong urge to urinate is present before voiding, sometimes accompanied by pain during urination.
