How to fill nasolabial folds
Recently, wrinkles on my face have been increasing. I would like to know how to fill in nasolabial folds.
Nasolabial fold augmentation is a non-surgical cosmetic procedure that improves or eliminates facial nasolabial folds by injecting fillers. Commonly used fillers include hyaluronic acid, calcium hydroxylapatite, poly-L-lactic acid, and botulinum toxin. Among these, hyaluronic acid is the most commonly used filler material due to its excellent biocompatibility and safety profile.
1. Hyaluronic acid injection: Hyaluronic acid, a naturally occurring substance, is injected into the nasolabial fold area to provide structural support and volume, thereby reducing the appearance or eliminating the folds. The effect is rapid, typically visible within 5 to 7 days, although it is not permanent and requires periodic reinjections.
2. Autologous fat transfer: This method involves harvesting fat from the patient's own body, processing it, and then injecting it into the nasolabial fold area. Because the patient's own tissue is used, it offers high safety and long-lasting results. The cost of autologous fat transfer generally ranges from 2000 to 8000 yuan.
The effects of filler injections are not permanent and may require periodic maintenance treatments to sustain the desired outcome.
