Angina pectoris, also known as angina, is a common manifestation of coronary artery disease, primarily caused by insufficient blood supply to the heart. Its typical symptoms include:

1. Chest pain: Due to narrowing or spasm of the coronary arteries leading to myocardial ischemia, when the heart's workload increases, a sensation of pressure or tightness may develop behind the breastbone or in the left chest area. This pain typically occurs behind the sternum or in the jaw, sometimes radiating to the arms or back. The pain usually lasts 1 to 5 minutes and rarely exceeds 15 minutes.

2. Fatigue: Patients with angina have inadequate blood supply, which prevents sufficient oxygen and nutrients from reaching the body, resulting in fatigue. This fatigue may be persistent and unrelieved even with rest, particularly noticeable after physical activity.

3. Shortness of breath: During physical exertion or emotional excitement, patients may experience breathlessness or difficulty breathing.

4. Nausea and sweating: Some patients may experience symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, or excessive sweating.

If you suspect you have angina, seek medical attention promptly.
