Which body part should be massaged for arrhythmia?
My heart rate has always been somewhat irregular, and my heart has never been in good condition. My friend suggested that I try massage therapy in my daily life. I would like to ask, if I have arrhythmia, which areas are better to receive massage?

When experiencing arrhythmia, relief can be obtained by massaging the following areas:
1. Shenmen (HT7) point: Located in the anterior wrist region, at the ulnar end of the distal transverse wrist crease, on the radial border of the tendon of the flexor carpi ulnaris muscle. Massaging this point can relieve palpitations, anxiety, insomnia, and has a good therapeutic effect on arrhythmia.
2. Neiguan (PC6) point: Located in the anterior forearm region, two cun above the distal transverse wrist crease on the palmar side, between the tendons of the palmaris longus and the flexor carpi radialis muscles. This point helps regulate qi and relieve pain. It is a commonly used acupuncture point in traditional Chinese medicine for treating palpitations and cardiac neurosis, and is effective in regulating arrhythmia.
3. Daling (PC7) point: Located at the midpoint of the wrist transverse crease, between the tendons of the palmaris longus and the flexor carpi radialis muscles. Press this point with the bent index finger until a soreness sensation is felt; it serves as an effective adjunct treatment for arrhythmia.
4. Laogong (PC8) point: Located in the center of the palm, between the second and third metacarpal bones, closer to the third metacarpal bone, at the tip of the middle finger when making a fist and flexing the fingers. Massaging this point helps regulate autonomic nervous system function and has a calming and soothing effect, providing excellent therapeutic effects for arrhythmia.
Apply gentle pressure during massage, keep the duration moderate, and it is recommended to perform under medical guidance.
