Papular acne is mainly characterized by red or skin-colored papules appearing on the skin, sometimes accompanied by pus-filled heads. Methods for treating papular acne include:

1. Topical treatment: Mild to moderate papular acne in the early stages can be treated with topical medications, such as creams or gels containing benzoyl peroxide, salicylic acid, or retinoids.

2. Oral medications: For moderate to severe acne or cases where topical treatments are ineffective, oral antibiotics such as tetracyclines or erythromycin may be considered to control inflammation, or systemic therapy with isotretinoin may be used.

3. Physical therapies: Physical treatments such as laser therapy and photorejuvenation can effectively regulate sebum production, reduce bacterial proliferation, and achieve therapeutic goals.

4. General measures: Maintain skin cleanliness and avoid skin irritation caused by excessive cleansing. Adjust dietary habits by reducing intake of high-sugar and high-fat foods, and consume more fiber-rich foods.

Medication should be used under the guidance of a qualified physician. If discomfort occurs, prompt medical consultation is recommended.
