What is the best way for pregnant women to treat athlete's foot?
Recently, my athlete's foot has flared up again while I'm at home pregnant. I would like to know the best treatment method for athlete's foot during pregnancy.

Methods recommended for treating athlete's foot during pregnancy:
1. Maintain foot hygiene. Due to increased metabolism during pregnancy, women are more prone to foot sweating. Therefore, it is important to keep the feet clean and dry, and avoid wearing damp shoes and socks. Wash feet daily, choose 100% cotton breathable socks and footwear to enhance sweat and heat dissipation. If socks become damp from perspiration, change them promptly. Pregnant women should avoid walking barefoot in public places to reduce the risk of infection.
2. Soak feet in warm water. Pregnant women can choose to soak their feet in hot water for about 30 minutes each time, maintaining the water temperature throughout. After soaking, diluted tea tree oil may be applied locally under the advice of a physician.
3. Use safe topical medications. When selecting a treatment method, always consult a doctor to ensure the chosen medication is harmless to the fetus. Under medical guidance, pregnant women may use safe antifungal creams such as terbinafine, ciclopirox, or clotrimazole.
Medication should be used only under the guidance of a qualified physician. If discomfort occurs, prompt medical attention is advised.
