Paralysis of one side of the body, known as hemiplegia, is commonly seen in cerebrovascular diseases such as cerebral hemorrhage and cerebral infarction. Early symptoms may be relatively mild but should be given sufficient attention. The following are some early symptoms of hemiplegia:

1. Motor dysfunction: The patient may experience weakness, stiffness, or reduced mobility in one limb, such as unsteady gait or weakened grip. These symptoms may gradually worsen, leading to complete loss of motor function.

2. Facial drooping: When attempting to smile, one side of the face may fail to lift normally, resulting in noticeable asymmetry.

3. Speech difficulties: Speech becomes slurred, or the person may struggle to find appropriate words to express thoughts, and in severe cases, may be completely unable to speak.

4. Vision problems: Sudden blurred vision, visual field defects, or double vision in both eyes may occur.

5. Balance and coordination disorders: A feeling of instability while walking, frequent falls, or clumsiness when performing tasks requiring fine motor skills may be observed.

6. Altered consciousness:表现为精神萎靡不振、嗜睡,还可能伴有频繁打哈欠。
