The Efficacy and Function of Mao Dan
I heard that people in northern China like to eat hairy eggs, and I wonder what health benefits and effects they have?
Maodan, usually refers to a chicken embryo that is half-hatched, also known as Huozhuzi or chicken embryo egg. Maodan contains protein, amino acids, minerals and other components, but its nutritional value is not significantly higher than that of regular eggs.
Common effects and benefits:
1. Rich in protein: It can effectively supplement nutrients required by the human body, enhance resistance and immunity. Meanwhile, Maodan also contains eight amino acids required by the human body and two amino acids essential for infants, which are helpful for infant brain development and improving memory.
2. Promotes metabolism: It can accelerate blood circulation and may help alleviate menstrual pain in women.
3. Aids weight loss: It also contains fats and carbohydrates, which can increase satiety after consumption, thus helping with weight management.
4. Enhances memory: Maodan is also rich in lecithin and triglycerides, nutrients that play important roles in nervous system and body development, significantly enhancing memory and providing beneficial effects on brain function.
However, Maodan may contain bacteria, viruses, and parasite eggs. If not thoroughly cooked, it may cause food poisoning.
