What's causing my recent leg weakness and fatigue?
Recently, my legs have been feeling weak and powerless. Even after walking a short distance or standing for a prolonged period, my legs feel fatigued and unable to support me properly. Going up and down stairs is especially difficult, as my legs seem to lack strength and feel as if they can barely support my body. So why do my legs feel weak and fatigued?

Recent leg weakness and fatigue may be caused by various factors:
1. Overexertion: Prolonged standing, walking, or engaging in high-intensity physical activities can lead to muscle fatigue in the legs, resulting in weakness and fatigue. Adequate rest and appropriate massage can effectively alleviate these symptoms.
2. Lack of exercise: Long-term physical inactivity can reduce leg muscle strength and slow blood circulation, which may also cause leg weakness and fatigue. Therefore, it is recommended to engage in regular moderate exercise to enhance leg muscle strength and improve circulation.
3. Neurological disorders: Conditions such as multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's disease, and peripheral neuropathy can interfere with nerve signal transmission and affect muscle function. Additionally, compression of the spinal cord or nerve roots may also be a contributing factor.
4. Cardiovascular diseases: Conditions such as heart failure and hypotension may impair overall circulation, leading to insufficient oxygen supply to the leg muscles and causing a feeling of fatigue. Chronic diseases such as diabetes and thyroid dysfunction can also indirectly affect muscle strength and endurance.
