What causes chest and back pain?
I haven't been doing any heavy or strenuous work, yet I constantly feel pain in my chest and back. I'd like to know what could be causing this?

Causes of chest and back pain:
1. Overexertion: Prolonged engagement in strenuous physical labor or maintaining poor posture regularly can lead to muscle fatigue and tension, causing pain in the front and back of the chest.
2. Medical conditions: Conditions such as angina or myocardial infarction may cause compressive chest pain that radiates to the back; diseases like pneumonia, pulmonary embolism, and pleurisy can impair lung function, leading to oxygen deficiency in the chest and back areas and consequently causing pain; costochondritis, possibly caused by overuse or trauma, can result in tenderness, swelling, and pain in the chest and back.
3. Digestive system issues: Conditions such as gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), cholecystitis, and pancreatitis may sometimes cause pain that extends to the chest and back.
4. Other causes: Autoimmune diseases such as ankylosing spondylitis may affect the spinal joints, leading to back pain and other symptoms. Psychological conditions like anxiety and depression may also manifest as physical discomfort, including chest and back pain.
If you experience any of the above symptoms or unexplained chest and back pain, especially if accompanied by difficulty breathing, palpitations, nausea, or other concerning symptoms, seek medical attention immediately.
