Foods for Calcium Supplementation
My child has some calcium deficiency, and the doctor mentioned to consume more calcium-rich foods. I would like to ask, what are the foods that are good for calcium supplementation?

Calcium-rich foods can mainly be divided into the following categories:
1. Dairy products: Milk, yogurt, cheese, etc., are all excellent sources of calcium. For example, one cup of milk can provide about 300 milligrams of calcium.
2. Leafy green vegetables: Such as spinach, mustard greens, and rape. These vegetables not only contain high levels of calcium but also are rich in vitamin K and magnesium, which help in the absorption and utilization of calcium.
3. Soy products: Tofu, soy milk, and other soy products contain abundant calcium. Especially tofu coagulated with gypsum or calcium sulfate contains even higher levels of calcium.
4. Nuts: Such as peanuts, walnuts, and almonds. These foods also contain a certain amount of calcium, and moderate consumption helps supplement calcium.
5. Fish: Particularly small fish with edible bones, such as sardines and canned salmon, which are very high in calcium.
Appropriate intake of foods rich in vitamin D or supplementation with adequate vitamin D is recommended to promote calcium absorption and utilization. In addition, moderate exercise and sun exposure can also help improve calcium absorption rates.
