What causes pain on the right side of the navel?
Today, for some unknown reason, I feel a bit of pain in my stomach, specifically on the right side of my navel. I would like to know what might be causing this?

Pain on the right side of the navel can be caused by various factors, commonly including:
1. Appendiceal issues: Appendicitis is one of the most common causes, often accompanied by pain in the lower right abdomen. Treatment may involve antibiotics or surgery, as recommended by a physician.
2. Intestinal problems: Conditions such as intestinal obstruction, Crohn's disease, intestinal tuberculosis, or small intestine tumors may also cause pain in this area. Treatments include dietary adjustments, medication, and surgery in severe cases.
3. Urinary system issues: Kidney stones, cystitis, and other urinary tract conditions may present as abdominal pain, particularly around the flank and abdominal region.
4. Gynecological issues: In women, abdominal pain may be caused by ovarian cysts, fallopian tube inflammation, or ectopic pregnancy.
5. Muscular or skin-related problems: Muscle strains, rashes, or shingles may also cause localized pain in the abdominal area.
If the pain persists or is accompanied by other symptoms such as fever, vomiting, or blood in the stool, prompt medical attention is recommended for proper diagnosis and treatment based on the individual condition.
