Cabbage is generally not recommended to be consumed with the following types of food:

1. Avoid eating with foods high in oxalic acid: Cabbage contains a certain amount of calcium, and foods high in oxalic acid may combine with the calcium in cabbage to form calcium oxalate, which is difficult to digest. This may interfere with calcium absorption and increase the risk of kidney stones.

2. Be cautious when consuming with iron-rich foods: Cabbage contains phytic acid and tannic acid, which may bind with iron and reduce the absorption rate of non-heme iron. Therefore, when consuming iron-rich foods, it is best to avoid simultaneously consuming large amounts of cabbage to ensure effective iron absorption.

3. Consider compatibility with the diet of individuals with thyroid disorders: Cabbage is a cruciferous vegetable containing glucosinolates, which can potentially be converted into isothiocyanates in the body. These compounds may theoretically inhibit thyroid hormone synthesis. Individuals with hypothyroidism or a history of thyroid disease should consume cabbage in moderation and avoid excessive consumption together with other foods that may also affect thyroid function.
