What should a pregnant woman do if she has low blood pressure?
Recently during pregnancy, I have felt that my blood pressure is slightly low. May I ask, what should a pregnant woman do if she has low blood pressure?

Low blood pressure in pregnant women, medically known as gestational hypotension, is a common physiological phenomenon during pregnancy, especially more prevalent in the early stages of pregnancy. If the hypotension is mild, special treatment is usually not required, but close monitoring and appropriate management are necessary.
1. Nutritional supplementation: Pregnant women should enhance their nutrient intake, maintain a balanced diet, and consume more nutrient-rich foods such as meat, eggs, dairy products, fish, and fresh vegetables and fruits to ensure adequate and comprehensive nutrition.
2. Increase fluid and salt intake:适量 increasing water consumption and dietary salt can help raise blood pressure, but excessive intake should be avoided to prevent edema or other complications.
3. Increase salt and cholesterol intake: Pregnant women may moderately increase salt intake and choose foods high in cholesterol, such as liver and egg yolks, which can help elevate blood pressure.
4. Change positions gradually: Avoid standing or sitting for prolonged periods. When transitioning from lying down to standing, rise slowly to reduce the risk of orthostatic hypotension.
5. Iron and blood supplementation: If the pregnant woman has anemia, she should increase intake of iron-rich and blood-nourishing foods, such as animal blood, pork liver, and egg yolks. Iron supplements may be taken when necessary.
