What does the term "nine-valent vaccine" mean?
Recently, some friends around me have received the 9-valent vaccine, and I would like to know what the 9-valent vaccine is.

The 9-valent vaccine, officially known as the 9-valent human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccine, is a prophylactic vaccine. This vaccine is primarily used to prevent infection with nine subtypes of HPV virus, including two low-risk HPV types (HPV6 and HPV11) and seven high-risk HPV types (HPV16, HPV18, HPV31, HPV33, HPV45, HPV52, and HPV58). The following points should be noted regarding the 9-valent vaccine:
1. Prevention coverage: The 9-valent vaccine can prevent multiple HPV virus types, covering those closely associated with 90% of cervical cancers, as well as those closely linked to the development of genital warts and other warts.
2. Clinical significance: Early vaccination with the 9-valent vaccine plays an important role in preventing HPV infection and reducing the risk of developing diseases such as cervical cancer and vaginal cancer.
3. Recommended age for vaccination: The 9-valent vaccine is generally recommended for individuals aged between 9 and 45 years.
