How to Properly Sit a Short Postpartum Period to Avoid Health Problems
I recently gave birth and would like to ask the doctor how to properly rest during the postpartum period to avoid health problems.

"Xiaoyuezi" usually refers to the period of physical recovery and convalescence for women after miscarriage or premature delivery. Similar to "Zuoyuezi" (postpartum recovery), Xiaoyuezi also aims to help women's bodies recover to a healthy state as soon as possible and avoid complications or long-term health problems. Correct Xiaoyuezi care includes the following aspects:
1. During Xiaoyuezi, women should ensure adequate sleep and rest, avoid excessive fatigue, and help the body recover as soon as possible. Bed rest for a period of time is recommended, and strenuous activities should be avoided, but appropriate walking is encouraged, as long as no sweating occurs.
2. Balanced diet: Consume foods rich in protein, vitamins, and minerals to aid in physical recovery. Maintain adequate hydration and avoid greasy and irritating foods.
3. Personal hygiene: Keep the perineal area clean and dry, wash the external genitalia regularly, and disinfect the skin with povidone-iodine to prevent infection. Frequently change sanitary napkins, avoid tub bathing, and opt for showering instead.
4. Psychological adjustment: Pay attention to mental health, as women may experience emotional fluctuations after miscarriage or premature delivery. Communicate more with family and friends, and seek professional assistance if necessary.
