Generally, it is recommended to wait at least 18 to 24 months after a cesarean section before considering another pregnancy, in order to ensure sufficient time for the uterus to recover and heal. This is because the incision made in the uterus during a cesarean section requires time to heal completely, thereby reducing the risk of uterine rupture during subsequent pregnancies. If an unintended pregnancy occurs just 10 months after a cesarean section, it may lead to risks such as uterine rupture, placenta accreta, placenta previa, postpartum hemorrhage, and endometriosis. These risks can threaten the lives of both the mother and the fetus.

Special attention should be given to all prenatal examinations, particularly in the third trimester. If the uterine scar is found to be very thin, timely hospitalization for fetal protection treatment is necessary. Additionally, medical evaluation should be sought immediately upon experiencing contractions or any other discomfort.
