What are the reasons why women do not get pregnant?
I watched TV and learned that some women experience infertility. I would like to ask, what are the causes of female infertility?

There are various causes of female infertility, which can be broadly categorized into the following aspects:
1. Ovulation problems: Ovulatory disorders are a common cause of female infertility, such as failure of egg formation, absence of ovulation, or irregular ovulation.
2. Luteal phase defect: The corpus luteum is a vital organ responsible for progesterone secretion in women, and its dysfunction can impair fertility.
3. Hormonal imbalances: Conditions such as polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), thyroid dysfunction, and hyperprolactinemia can disrupt normal ovulation.
4. Immunological factors: The body's immune system may attack sperm or embryos, leading to immunological infertility.
5. Fallopian tube problems: Blockage, fluid accumulation (hydrosalpinx), or adhesions in the fallopian tubes can prevent the egg and sperm from meeting.
6. Lifestyle and environmental factors: Long-term smoking, alcohol consumption, excessive weight loss or obesity, and exposure to harmful chemicals can all affect fertility.
7. Genetic factors: Certain genetic disorders or chromosomal abnormalities may lead to infertility.
8. Age-related factors: As women age, ovarian function gradually declines, and both the quantity and quality of eggs decrease, increasing the risk of infertility.
9. Uterine issues: Uterine abnormalities, such as congenital malformations, uterine fibroids, or endometriosis, may interfere with embryo implantation.
