Disease description:

My son is 11 years old. While bathing tonight, I suddenly noticed three black spots on his heel. They vary in size, have regular shapes, and are not obviously painful. However, my child says there is occasionally a slight itching sensation. I am concerned it might be a skin disease or another health issue.

The black spots appearing on a child's heel may be pigmentation, moles, or early signs of skin infections such as warts or fungal infections. As there is no obvious pain, it is initially suspected not to be a hematoma or bruise caused by trauma. However, any sudden skin changes warrant attention, especially in children.

It is recommended to closely monitor changes in the black spots, including size, shape, color, and whether there are accompanying symptoms such as redness, swelling, or itching, and to keep records. Minimize irritation to the heel area and avoid excessive friction and pressure to prevent worsening of symptoms. It is advised to seek timely medical evaluation for the child, where a qualified physician can make a diagnosis and provide appropriate treatment. The doctor may determine the cause based on symptoms and clinical signs, and formulate a corresponding treatment plan, such as medication, laser therapy, or surgical removal.
