This is because water may contain a large amount of bacteria, and contact with water immediately after surgery could lead to wound infection, which is不利于 the recovery process. It is usually recommended to avoid contact with water for 5–7 days after the surgery. Once a scab has formed and naturally fallen off, the area may be exposed to water cautiously, but local cleanliness should still be maintained, and the use of irritating cleansers or skincare products should be avoided.
