20 days: white scar at the inner corner of the eye
Twenty days ago, I underwent an inner canthoplasty. During the postoperative recovery period, I noticed the appearance of a white scar at the inner corner of my eye, which has caused me significant concern. This scar not only affects my appearance but also makes me worry about whether complications arose from the surgery.

White scarring after inner canthoplasty surgery may be related to multiple factors. During the healing process of the surgical incision, excessive tension on the skin may lead to scar formation. Individual differences can also influence scar development, as some people's skin is more prone to noticeable scarring during the healing process. Additionally, surgical techniques, post-operative care, and infections may also affect scar formation and appearance.
In the early stages of scar formation, certain anti-scar medications such as silicone gel or scar patches may be used. These treatments can soften scar tissue and promote the recovery of pigment cells, thereby improving the scar's appearance. It is important to keep the wound clean and dry to avoid infection; follow medical advice regarding the use of antibiotic eye drops and anti-inflammatory medications; and avoid不良 habits such as excessive eye use and rubbing the eyes.
