How long after removing the prosthesis can I eat spicy food?
I had rhinoplasty surgery a month ago, during which a silicone implant was placed. I would like to know how long after implant removal I can eat spicy food.

The recovery period after removing the prosthesis varies from person to person, primarily depending on the surgical site, individual physical condition, and specific surgical circumstances. However, it is generally recommended to avoid spicy and irritating foods before the wound heals completely, to prevent irritation that may cause pain, swelling, or even infection.
Patients are advised to wait at least 2 to 4 weeks to ensure the surgical area has largely healed. During this time, you may gradually try mildly spicy foods while monitoring your body's response. However, your diet should primarily consist of light, easily digestible foods, and include ample protein, vitamins, and fiber to promote wound healing and overall recovery. Adequate rest is also important, and you should avoid strenuous exercise and heavy physical labor to prevent interference with wound healing and physical recovery.
If you experience any discomfort or have concerns, seek medical advice promptly.
