What are the preoperative preparations for autologous fat breast augmentation?
I would like to change the size of my breasts through autologous fat transfer surgery and would like to know what preparations I should make before the procedure?

Prior to undergoing autologous fat breast augmentation surgery, patients need to make the following preparations:
1. Health assessment: A comprehensive physical examination, including blood tests and electrocardiogram (ECG), should be conducted preoperatively to ensure the patient's physical condition is suitable for surgery.
2. Discontinue medications: Anticoagulant medications and aspirin should be avoided for at least two weeks before surgery to prevent impaired postoperative blood clotting and potential prolonged bleeding.
3. Preparation of fat donor sites: Fat is usually harvested from areas such as the abdomen and thighs. Therefore, these areas should maintain an adequate fat layer prior to surgery, avoiding excessive weight loss that may result in insufficient fat volume.
4. Choosing an appropriate timing: Female patients should avoid surgery during their menstrual period to prevent compromised immune function, which may affect surgical outcomes and postoperative recovery.
