Is dental implant good or bad? Does it have any impact on the body?
I have recently been considering getting dental implants and am wondering if they might have any impact on my overall health.

From the perspective of physiological function, dental implants can restore the chewing function of missing teeth, avoiding dietary restrictions and poor nutrient absorption caused by tooth loss, thereby having a positive impact on overall health. In addition, dental implants help prevent the resorption of the alveolar bone and have a positive effect on oral health.
However, dental implants also carry certain risks and drawbacks. For example, patients with severe systemic diseases such as heart disease, poorly controlled diabetes, or osteoporosis, as well as those with poor oral hygiene or habits such as smoking, should undergo careful evaluation before implant placement to avoid increased surgical risks or compromised long-term stability of the implant. At the same time, postoperative care and follow-up visits must strictly follow medical advice to ensure the success of the dental implant and maintain oral health.
