Hydrosalpinx is a common gynecological condition, primarily caused by fallopian tube inflammation, infection, or adhesions following surgery, leading to tubal obstruction and fluid accumulation within the lumen. This condition is generally treatable.

For mild cases of hydrosalpinx, medication is usually recommended, such as antibiotics to eliminate infection, or traditional Chinese medicines like Fuyankang Granules or Gynecological Qianjin Tablets, which help improve the fluid accumulation by regulating bodily functions. Additionally, physical therapies such as moxibustion and acupuncture are suitable for patients with mild conditions and can promote local blood circulation, aiding in restoring tubal patency.

For moderate to severe hydrosalpinx, minimally invasive surgical treatments are recommended, such as laparoscopic salpingostomy or tubal recanalization, which directly remove the accumulated fluid and repair or reconstruct the fallopian tube structure to restore its function. Postoperative treatment typically includes anti-inflammatory medications and ovulation-stimulating drugs to enhance the chances of natural conception.

In general, the appropriate treatment method should be selected based on the patient's specific condition and treatment should be conducted under the guidance of a physician.
