Bronchopneumonia is a common respiratory disease, with diverse and complex symptoms such as cough, sputum production, dyspnea, fever, and others, all of which are typical manifestations of bronchopneumonia.

Cough is a common symptom of bronchopneumonia. Initially, it is often dry, but may later be accompanied by sputum production. The sputum is often thick, colored, and malodorous, due to increased bronchial secretions caused by pulmonary infection. As a result of impaired lung function, patients may experience shortness of breath and rapid breathing; in severe cases, symptoms such as wheezing may also occur.

Fever often accompanies bronchopneumonia, with body temperature rising to 38°C or higher, which is a response of the body to the infection. In addition, some patients may present with digestive symptoms such as chest pain, nausea, vomiting, abdominal distension, and diarrhea, as well as accompanying symptoms including chills, headache, and generalized myalgia. Infants and young children may also exhibit neurological symptoms such as irritability and drowsiness.

If the above symptoms occur, timely medical consultation is recommended for diagnosis and treatment by a qualified physician.
