At 5 months pregnant, I want to provide better nutrition for my baby in the womb. I'm not sure what foods are suitable to eat at this stage, which foods should be consumed more, and which should be eaten less.

Eating more fruits, vegetables, and whole grains can aid digestion and help prevent constipation. Folate is an essential nutrient for fetal neural tube development, and good sources of folate include legumes, leafy green vegetables, and nuts.
Pregnant women should limit their intake of high-sugar, high-salt, and high-fat foods to reduce the risk of developing diabetes and hypertension.
