Influenza A, also known as Type A flu, generally presents with symptoms such as fever, cough, chills, and headache.

Patients commonly experience high fever, with body temperature reaching 39-40°C or even higher. The fever often develops suddenly, possibly accompanied by symptoms such as chills and rigors. The high fever may persist for 3-5 days, during which patients may feel hot; in severe cases, convulsions may occur, especially in children. The cough is mainly dry or accompanied by phlegm, and occurs frequently.

Chills may also occur, making the patient feel cold despite having a high body temperature. Patients may also experience pain symptoms, as the virus can cause systemic viremic symptoms such as body aches, fatigue, and headaches. When severe, these symptoms may affect the patient's normal daily activities. Some patients may also develop gastrointestinal symptoms such as vomiting and diarrhea.

Symptoms may vary among individuals. Some patients may also experience muscle pain, conjunctival congestion, and facial flushing.

It is recommended to maintain good personal hygiene habits, such as washing hands frequently, wearing masks, and avoiding close contact with others, to prevent spreading the virus to others.
