Influenza A refers to type A influenza. The symptoms of type A influenza include fever, cough, and sore throat.

1. Fever

After infection with the type A influenza virus, the body's temperature-regulating center is affected, leading to fever with temperatures possibly reaching 39°C to 40°C. Fever typically lasts for 3-4 days but may persist for more than 7 days. Chills and headache may accompany the fever.

2. Cough

The influenza A virus attacks the respiratory tract, irritating the respiratory mucosa and causing coughing. The cough is usually dry and sometimes severe, especially at night or in the morning, and may last for one to two weeks or even longer.

3. Sore Throat

When the type A influenza virus enters the body, it invades the respiratory mucosa, causing swelling and congestion, which leads to a sore throat. There may be significant pain in the throat that worsens during swallowing, accompanied by hoarseness.

Therefore, if the above symptoms appear, it is important to seek medical attention early and undergo standardized treatment under a doctor's guidance. In daily life, personal protection should be strengthened, including frequent handwashing, wearing masks, and avoiding crowded places. Additionally, ensure adequate rest, drink plenty of water, and supplement with nutrients such as vitamin C and zinc to help boost immunity. At home, attention should be paid to ventilation to maintain fresh indoor air and prevent cross-infection.
