How to Alleviate Lower Back Pain in the Later Stages of Pregnancy
Recently in the late stages of pregnancy, I often feel lower back pain. May I ask, how can I relieve lower back pain during the late stages of pregnancy?

During pregnancy, especially in the later stages, many pregnant women experience lower back pain due to increased pressure on the spine and pelvis caused by the growing uterus. The following methods may help alleviate these symptoms:
1. Maintain correct posture: When standing, keep your feet shoulder-width apart to reduce strain on the spine. When sitting, choose a chair with good support, keep your back pressed against the chair back, and use a small pillow or cushion to support your lower back.
2. Engage in moderate exercise: Perform mild exercises suitable for pregnant women, such as prenatal yoga, water aerobics, or walking. These activities can strengthen muscles, improve blood circulation, and reduce pain. However, avoid strenuous activities and prolonged standing or sitting.
3. Heat application and massage: Apply a hot water bottle or warm towel to the lower back for 15–20 minutes multiple times daily. Gentle massage can also improve blood circulation and help relax the muscles.
4. Nutritional supplementation: Pregnant women should appropriately supplement calcium and vitamin D and consume more foods rich in these nutrients, such as milk and soy products.
