When are the symptoms of Influenza A most severe?
Recently diagnosed with influenza A, I've been feeling terrible all over for the past two days. I'd like to ask, on which day do flu symptoms typically become the most severe?

In general, the symptoms of influenza A reach their peak severity on the 2nd to 5th day after infection, when the body temperature may remain high, and symptoms such as coughing, sore throat, and muscle pain are most pronounced.
Influenza A virus causes an acute respiratory infectious disease, with symptoms typically appearing 1 to 4 days after infection. For most patients, symptoms gradually subside within a week, although some individuals may experience a peak period of symptoms.
The acute phase is the period with the most severe symptoms. Patients may develop a high fever, with body temperature reaching 39-40°C, accompanied by severe headache, muscle pain, vomiting, diarrhea, and other symptoms. Patients may feel physically weak and experience a loss of appetite, requiring close monitoring of the disease progression and timely symptomatic treatment.
The recovery phase usually occurs from the 5th to 10th day after onset, covering the process from symptom relief to full recovery. During this phase, most acute symptoms disappear and body temperature gradually returns to normal, although patients may still experience mild fatigue and muscle pain.
