Yellowish vaginal discharge, if it is a temporary physiological change, usually resolves on its own. However, if it is caused by pathological factors, it may not resolve without treatment. Yellow vaginal discharge is commonly associated with hormonal fluctuations, mild infections, or external irritation. If there are no accompanying symptoms such as a foul odor, itching, or other abnormalities, it may indicate a temporary physiological change. For example, stress, fatigue, or changes in lifestyle habits can temporarily disrupt the endocrine system, leading to a change in the color of vaginal discharge. However, if symptoms persist for a prolonged period or are accompanied by other discomforts, further evaluation is necessary to determine if there is an underlying pathological cause.

It is recommended to maintain good personal hygiene by washing the external genital area daily with warm water and avoiding the use of irritating cleansers. Wear breathable cotton underwear and change it daily to reduce the chance of bacterial growth. Additionally, maintain a balanced diet and consume foods rich in vitamins to strengthen immunity. If yellow vaginal discharge persists or symptoms worsen, seek medical attention promptly to avoid delaying treatment.
