Moles generally do not disappear on their own, although they may fade or change in appearance. Moles are formed by clusters of melanocytes in the skin. Most moles are stable and remain unchanged throughout life. During puberty, pregnancy, or in old age, some moles may fade, shrink, or even appear to "disappear" due to hormonal fluctuations or natural aging. Additionally, long-term friction, external irritation, or changes in the surrounding skin may also lead to alterations in the mole's appearance. If a mole undergoes sudden noticeable changes in color, shape, or size, it may indicate potential health concerns and should be taken seriously.

To ensure the safety of moles, it is recommended to regularly monitor their appearance for any signs of asymmetry, irregular borders, uneven coloration, or increased diameter. If any abnormal changes occur, or if symptoms such as pain, itching, or bleeding develop, prompt medical evaluation is advised to rule out the possibility of malignancy. In daily life, avoid excessive friction or irritation of moles by choosing loose, comfortable clothing and practicing sun protection to maintain overall skin health.
